Through our Water, Waste, Energy and Industrial Services, we're committed to protecting the environment and creating a more sustainable future.
The Opportunity
In this critical role you will bring your sharp strategic know-how and growth mindset to support the National Tender Desk and design, write and co-ordinate winning proposals. You will create tenders that articulate and sell Veolia’s strong differentiators, that are fully embedded in the business’ sale cycle and embody best practice at all stages.
This role welcomes applicants based in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.
Onboarding will occur in Brisbane over the course of one week.
What's on offer
Full-time, 15 month fixed-term opportunity
Hybrid role with flexible location, can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
A fast-paced and challenging but rewarding strategic role
Work within a market-leading environmental services company
Globally recognised organisation with great career growth options
What you'll be responsible for
Design, innovative intuitive proposals that seamlessly blend technical and operational content in a compelling and engaging manner
Identify, manage and collaboratively work with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout the entire tender process, including win strategy refinement and proposal approval
Strategically write, proof and edit proposal documentation, to ensure a cohesive and concise submission
Proactively support the sales lifecycle and sales team through the creation of presentations, reports, newsletters and audits
Manage the end-to-end tender process, including oversight of all proposal correspondence, and coordination during and after submission
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Commercial, Legal and operational teams throughout the tender process
Ensure the tender library and tender pipeline is updated and maintained
What you'll need to be successful
3+ years’ experience working in a bid/ proposal and/or strategic sales function
Tertiary qualifications are desirable but not essential
Proven experience in the preparation, coordination and writing of large-scale client-centric proposals and other complex documents
Demonstrated track record in relationship-building with an ability to network with diverse stakeholder groups across all seniorities
High level of professional writing, editing and proofing skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to effectively manage multiple complex submissions and competing deadlines
Waste or environmental services experience is advantageous but not essential
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a two-hour written assessment as part of the selection process
