The impact you'll have:

At the Workplace Injury Commission, we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.

Due to internal promotions, we need you to join us as a Team Manager for Support Services. In this role you will lead and develop a team of Support Officers to deliver high quality, critical operational support to the Dispute Resolution team. This includes ensuring administrative workflows are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. You will also be responsible for task allocation, workload management, service improvement, and fostering a high-performance, delivery-centred team culture.

Equipped with your strong leadership capability including working collaboratively, you will build a climate of collaboration and teamwork across organisational boundaries, setting service excellence standards and proactively shape continuous improvements that enhance the client, other parties and people experience. You will enjoy having an impact on the delivery of WIC's organisational strategy as an active leader and steward of our culture.

Who we're looking for:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience leading and coaching a high performing team through building trust and belonging, shared purpose and goals, coaching and empowerment
• Experience monitoring and managing the performance of a service-delivery or administrative operations team to meet key performance objectives and consistently high-quality standards
• Strong understanding of workflow coordination, workload management, and task delegation across teams and able to adapt to fluctuating and competing demands.
• Leadership capability to coach for growth, create clarity, build connection and lead in context to develop and sustain individual and team high performance to achieve operational and strategic objectives
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to develop effective working partnerships with colleagues and key stakeholders at all levels
