  • Review incidents and corrective actions to ensure they address underlying risk and are effective
  • Provide advice on compliance risks across areas such as Transport, Dangerous Goods, Waste, Environmental and Licensing obligations
  • Monitor and support the implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to Qube Energy operations
  • Contribute SHS input to tenders, proposals and pre-commencement planning
  • Provide SHS support (remote and onsite) for new contracts, scope expansions, operational transitions, mobilisations and demobilisations
  • Support Management of Change processes when operations or risk profiles change
  • Provide coaching and support to site-based SHS Advisors and operational teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
  • Lead Auditor qualification (essential)
  • Experience delivering SHS audits, assurance or verification activities (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an operational or SHS advisory role across multiple jurisdictions (essential)
  • Practical knowledge of Transport, Dangerous Goods and Waste management requirements (desirable)
  • Experience supporting operational change, mobilisation or transitions
  • Strong understanding of WHS and environmental legislation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Problem solving and influencing ability
  • Ability to work independently and support operational teams
  • Ability to travel (essential)

Benefits

  • Up to 50% off gyms, studios, active wear, healthy meals, supplements, recovery
  • Discounted health insurance
  • Special paid leave to participate in volunteering activities
  • Unlimited access to employee assistance program delivered through Sonder
  • Generous paid parental leave for eligible employees
