About the job Teradata developer
Job Description:
Teradata Generic
Teradata architecture knowledge
Knowledge on Data warehousing principles and practices.
Teradata SQL knowledge ( critical for the role)
Knowledge on Teradata tools and utilities
Informatic basic level knowledge
Working knowledge on Unix commands
Experience on Jams scheduler(preferred) or any other job scheduler tools like Autosys.
Knowledge on SVN ( or any code version control tools)
Knowledge on ServiceNow(SNOW) for ticket management
Teradata DBA
Experience on Teradata Admin activities .
Experience working on Teradata Vantage on AWS and Teradata database version upgrades.
Knowledge of Viewpoint and different portlets in Viewpoint for system health monitoring
Query performance optimization.
Knowledge on Data Mover tool for data copy across environments.
Co-ordinating with Teradata vendor team(raising tickets etc.) for resolution of DB related issues.
Knowledge on data backup and restore process and concepts
