The Opportunity

Monash Learning and Teaching has an exciting opportunity to join the team as an Education Designer.

The Education Designer contributes to Monash Learning and Teaching’s strategic priorities by supporting the design, implementation and operationalisation of education initiatives that advance teaching, learning and assessment across the University.As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing effective educational advice, guidance and support to academic and professional staff on the design, development and review of units, courses and related educational initiatives, with a particular focus on assessment design. Further, you will coordinate and support key aspects of faculty engagement for the Programmatic Assessment and AI Review (PAAIR), focusing on stakeholder liaison, cross-faculty communications and connecting academic teams with relevant assessment development support resources.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational design background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
