This is a permanent part time (0.4FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

The successful applicant will ideally teach additional English classes up to an extra 0.6FTE. You may include in your application any previous experience or interest in teaching this subject.

The Role

The ability to teach ATAR and General French Second Language courses is desirable but not essential as is the ability to teach English courses.

The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop effective relationships with students, staff and parents. They will ideally be passionate educators, have a contemporary teaching pedagogy and be committed to making a difference in the lives of students. They should also be effective in engaging and motivating students and managing an appropriate learning environment. The successful applicant will ideally also be able to differentiate the curriculum through extension, enrichment and use of information technology.

The successful applicant should possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills that will be used to develop and promote the school’s values, ethos and priorities across the school community. You should work effectively in a team environment as well as demonstrate quality teaching that enables students to achieve their potential. The successful applicant should work closely with students, teachers and the community to achieve the best educational outcomes for students in the classroom and extra-curricular contexts.
