Wharf & Co is a waterfront restaurant and bar on Marina Pier, Glenelg. We reopened recently and are building a kitchen team.

The Role

We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand to keep our kitchen running smoothly. It’s a hands-on role and the backbone of a good service. Day to day you’ll be:

• Washing and keeping the kitchen, equipment and crockery clean and ready
• Keeping benches, floors and prep areas spotless and up to food safety standards
• Helping chefs with basic prep when needed
• Receiving and storing deliveries, and keeping the coolroom and dry store organised
• Taking out rubbish, recycling and keeping the back of house tidy through service

What we’re looking for

• A strong work ethic and genuine reliability
• The ability to keep pace during a busy service and stay organised under pressure
• A team player who communicates well with chefs and the wider kitchen
• Good hygiene habits and an eye for cleanliness
• Availability across days, nights and weekends
• Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not essential

Pay: $33.85 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
