Get Behind the Scenes of Live Music — Sydney Summer 2026/27
Showcall Crewing employs, trains and manages all crew directly. We do not recruit or place workers for other companies.
Want to see how a concert really happens?
You'll be part of the team that gets the venue ready before the audience arrives — and helps pack it all away when the show is over. You'll learn new skills, meet people who work in the industry and get to experience live entertainment from the other side of the stage.
If that sounds like your kind of work, we'd like to hear from you.
Showcall Crewing is looking for 50 new casual crew members to join our team for the 2026/27 summer season.
Learn the world behind the stage
This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience across different areas of live event production, including:
- Sound and audio
- Lighting
- Video, screens and visual production
- Staging
- Backline and musical equipment
- Event set-up and production
- Concert bump-ins and bump-outs
- Live event operations
No previous experience is required.
You'll work alongside our experienced crew and managers and learn how the different technical and production elements come together to deliver a live show.
What you'll get
$32.18–$61.99 per hour, depending on the work and applicable award conditions. Pay and conditions are in accordance with the Live Performance Award.
- Casual employment directly with Showcall Crewing
- Flexible shifts based on event schedules and your availability
- Minimum 4-hour paid shifts
- Training via hands-on experience working with our highly experienced teams and managers
- Opportunities to work at major concerts, festivals and live events
- Practical experience across sound, lighting, video, staging and backline
- The opportunity to develop skills and experience in the live entertainment industry
- A professional, supportive and safety-focused team
- This isn't an office job
- Not suitable for people who have full-time employment
What we're looking for
You don't need a production résumé.
We're interested in people who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable and comfortable with hands-on work
- Keen to learn
- Interested in music, concerts, entertainment or production
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Available for a variety of mornings, evenings, weekends and event days and nights
- Willing to follow safety procedures and instructions
Previous event, production, theatre or technical experience is welcome — but it's not essential.
Applications will only be accepted via our website at https://showcallcrewing.com.au
