Therapy Assistant jobs in Westmead NSW

Altura Therapy is looking for a qualified Allied Health Assistant to join our mobile clinic as a subcontractor, delivering therapy programs under the clinical supervision and direction of our registered Occupational Therapist. You'll carry out planned intervention sessions with NDIS participants, following treatment and support plans set by the supervising clinician, rather than working independently.

What you'll do

• Deliver 1:1 mobile therapy sessions to NDIS participants, following programs and goals set by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Carry out planned activities, exercises, and support strategies as directed
• Accurately document each session and report progress back to the supervising clinician
• Flag any changes, concerns, or safety issues to the supervising Occupational Therapist promptly
• Support participants and families with practical, day to day implementation of their therapy plan

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance, or working towards it
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• Comfortable working under supervision and following a structured care plan, rather than setting your own clinical direction
• Experience with NDIS participants preferred, not essential
• Own transport, for mobile delivery across the service area
• Warm, patient, reliable communication style

Engagement: subcontractor, hourly rate negotiated, paid per completed session, flexible hours.

Pay: $38.00 – $65.00 per hour
