Trades Assistant / Installation Technician (Subcontractor)

Contrast Co – Sydney NSW

Contrast Co is a premium sauna and wellness installation company specialising in luxury sauna installations, ice bath installations, maintenance, refurbishments and custom wellness projects throughout Sydney.

We work with leading Australian and international sauna manufacturers, premium residential clients, gyms, hotels and wellness facilities.

As demand continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable Trades Assistant / Installation Technician to join the team.

The Role

Working directly alongside the owner, you will assist with:

  • Premium sauna installations
  • Ice bath installations
  • Timber assembly and construction
  • Sanding, maintenance and refurbishment work
  • Commercial wellness projects
  • Site preparation and clean-up
  • Material handling and deliveries

Work will initially be available 3-4 days per week with the opportunity for regular ongoing work.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Reliable transport
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials
  • Experience using power tools
  • Strong work ethic
  • Punctual, reliable and able to communicate effectively in English
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Highly Regarded

  • Carpentry experience
  • Cabinet making experience
  • Joinery experience
  • Shopfitting experience
  • Construction industry experience
  • Trade qualification or apprenticeship

About You

You take pride in your work, show up on time and care about quality.

You are comfortable working in premium homes, commercial facilities and around clients. You present professionally, have a positive attitude, are willing to learn and enjoy hands-on work.
