Downer Transport and Infrastructure is offering an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our team based in Hope Valley, WA . You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III or IV in Laboratory Techniques over two years — earn while you learn!

What the job looks like:

• Work alongside experienced professionals on laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials
• Assist in the preparation and testing of asphalt, aggregates, and other road‑building materials
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety days, and other relevant activities
• Gain practical, on‑the‑job experience in a laboratory environment

What you’ll bring:

• Current Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White) Card
• A keen interest in laboratory work and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong commitment to safety and Downer’s Zero Harm principles
