About the team
You’ll be joining the Cyber team, a group of 12,000+ cyber professionals working on impactful, high-profile projects, who value learning, collaboration and diverse thinking.
Our team is comprised of technical specialists, architects, engineers and consultants who work across a diverse portfolio of cyber projects to help organisations build trust, resilience and security in an increasingly digital world. Within Cyber, vacationers may work across one or more of our streams across Cyber Enterprise Security, gaining exposure to different aspects of the ecosystem. The team values learning, collaboration and diverse thinking, and supports early-career development through structured coaching, buddy support and hands-on experience.
What will your typical day look like?
Day-to-day, you’ll learn by doing. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real client projects, and build your capability through feedback and support. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one. You’ll be supported through structured learning, feedback and collaboration.
As a vacationer in the team, you’ll:
Cyber Enterprise Security
Contribute to securing applications, infrastructure, and operational technology through activities such as vulnerability assessments, secure code reviews, penetration testing, and the development of security frameworks. You may also assist with risk management, regulatory compliance, or embedding cyber controls into business transformation programs.

We’re seeking penultimate year students to join our vacationer program.
You may have all or some of the following:
Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Interest in investigating and solving real world cyber challenges, from preventing breaches to responding to incidents
Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback
Alignment with Deloitte’s values and inclusive culture
You’ll be studying towards or have completed a relevant degree, such as Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology Business Systems, Software Engineering or Engineering (including specialisations in areas like networking, security architecture, systems administration or commerce-related IT)
