About Us:

Founded in 1895, Costa Group is now a global fresh produce grower and innovator. We are at the forefront of growing and innovation and are proud of the fact that all the products we grow, and sell are fresh, nutritious, unprocessed and grown on our own farms.

In Australia, Costa’s farming operations include approximately 8,000 planted hectares of farmland, including Citrus, Berries, Avocados, Grapes, Banana’s, Tomatoes, 40 hectares of glasshouse, and three mushroom growing facilities.

This critical role is based in our Head Office in Docklands with fantastic views over the harbour. We are close to a variety of public transport options, along with access to numerous cafes, a supermarket and other amenities. Our bright and modern office is open planned with secure access, with a welcoming and supportive culture, and a very nice coffee machine for those that enjoy a coffee to start their day.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be the front of house professional our customers see when they first enter. Overseeing our welcoming reception area with excellent team and supervisory support, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Greeting visitors professionally and friendly and announcing their arrival to relevant staff
  • Managing and directing inbound calls and emails accordingly
  • Ordering, receiving and distributing stationary through Head Office
  • Distribution of mail and organising couriers and tracking where applicable
  • Responsible for set-up and tidiness of meeting rooms throughout Head Office
  • Assisting Shared Services and Corporate Services team with ad hoc tasks as required
  • Managing Head Office commodities – coffee, tea, sugar and other items
  • Providing leading customer service to internal and external customers and stakeholders

This role is Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, and due to the nature and importance of the role is full-time based in the office. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Certificate III in Business, through on-the-job training delivery, and is for an initial contract period of 12 months with the view to permanency post successful completion of this traineeship. Traineeship wages apply.
