Your new role:
As Sonogropher Advanced or Advanced Sonographer/Radiographer, you'll provide expert clinical care while leading innovation, mentoring colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of a high-performing ultrasound service. You'll work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and help shape the future of medical imaging.
Deliver advanced, patient-centred sonography and/or radiography services across a diverse and complex caseload.
Provide clinical leadership, expert advice and mentorship to sonographers, radiographers, students and support staff.
Lead the development of clinical protocols, service improvements and evidence-based practice initiatives.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective and integrated patient care.
Support education, workforce capability and succession planning within the department.
Contribute to research, quality improvement and innovation that enhances clinical practice and service delivery.
About you:
You're an experienced and passionate sonographer or radiographer who enjoys combining clinical excellence with leadership, education and continuous improvement. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care while supporting the growth of those around you.
Advanced clinical expertise in sonography and/or radiography with excellent clinical judgement.
Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring, supervising and developing others.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
Passion for quality improvement, research and implementing innovative models of care.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex clinical situations.
Commitment to patient-centred care, professional development and continuous learning.

The Division of Diagnostic Radiology provides a 24-hour clinical support service. The Department incorporates a complete Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS).
All general radiological services including mammography as well as advanced imaging services, including nuclear medicine and PET imaging, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, all major angiography and vascular interventional procedures, including cardiac examinations, are provided.
The Division is an accredited centre that provides education and training for registrars, radiography graduates and students, nursing staff and medical students.
