About the Department of Radiology

The main Department of Radiology is located on Levels 1 and 2 of the Lance Townsend Building, Austin Hospital. The Department comprises 21 diagnostic Staff Radiologists, 9 Interventional Radiologists including 3 Neurointerventional Radiologists, 4 Visiting Radiologists and 25 Radiology Registrars/Fellows.

About the role

The interventional radiology fellowship involves predominantly Vascular and nonvascular procedures especially in interventional oncology with hepatobiliary, urology, gynaecological and venous access procedures, with a growing volume of gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal procedures.

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:

Medical Registration in Australia
Have passed the Part II exam of the RANZCR or equivalent
Commitment to teamwork, quality, excellence and best practice in health care service delivery.
Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care.
