What you’ll do:

As a Financial Analyst, you will support the Offshore Australia Business Unit by delivering financial accounting, reporting, forecasting and business partnering across exploration activities. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you'll provide valuable insights into business performance, manage joint venture obligations, and support key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver month-end accounting, reporting and financial analysis.
• Prepare management reports, budgets and forecasts for exploration activities.
• Manage joint venture cash calls, billing statements, partner reporting and JV audits.
• Partner with exploration teams to provide financial insights and decision support.
Contribute to continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.

What you’ll bring:

• Degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion.
• 4+ years' accounting or finance experience, ideally within resources, energy or oil & gas.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering.
• SAP or equivalent ERP system experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Joint venture accounting experience will be highly regarded.
