Full job description

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Little Viet Foodie Morphett Vale location. You will lead a fast-paced environment, combining retail merchandise management with fresh food and hospitality services.

As a Retail Manager (General), you will hold full operational and financial accountability for the site, ensuring exceptional customer service, strict regulatory compliance, and maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations: Determine, implement, and monitor product mixes, stock levels, and service standards.
  • Financial Management: Formulate and manage the store budget, control labor costs, optimize gross margins, and achieve sales targets.
  • Inventory Control: Coordinate stock procurement, manage supplier relationships, and oversee visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, roster, and mentor a team of 8+ casual and full-time retail and hospitality staff.
  • Compliance: Maintain strict health, safety, and food handling standards in accordance with Australian regulations.
  • Customer Excellence: Resolve complex customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of full-time experience as a Retail Store Manager or Venue Manager in a fast-paced retail, franchise, or hospitality environment.
  • Qualifications: An Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or higher qualification in Business, Retail, or Hospitality Management is highly regarded (equivalent relevant experience will be considered).
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen (P&L management), exceptional leadership capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Visa Status: Australian citizens, permanent residents, or eligible working visa holders. Visa sponsorship (Subclass 482) may be considered for exceptional overseas candidates meeting all ANZSCO 142111 criteria.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
