Fruit & Veg Department Manager – Farmer Lou's (South Grafton)

Farmer Lou’s, an established and well-known family grocery store in South Grafton, is looking for a passionate and experienced Fruit & Veg Department Manager to join our team. We are a family business with deep roots in the community, offering both retail and wholesale services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily operations of the fruit & veg department, ensuring top-quality produce and a well-presented display.
• Managing inventory, ordering produce, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
• Training, leading, and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Engaging with customers to provide a positive and personalized shopping experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the grocery or produce industry is essential.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility: Early starts and weekend work are part of the job.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
