Based in Adelaide, Mechanical Vegetation Solutions is an established and well respected provider of Arboricultural services to Government, Councils, Civil, Commercial and private clients.

Due to expansion and growth we are looking for Arborists who are motivated self-starters, highly organised and have a passion for the industry, as we do.

Arborists positions and potentially crew leaders are available due to growth and upcoming contract work. Staff at MVS enjoy a fast paced and exciting environment with the opportunity to progress.

General Duties will include:

• Trimming trees and shrubs, and installing plant support and protection devices.
• Conducting tree inspections to assess their condition and determine treatment.
• Trim and cross cut fallen trees with chainsaws.
• Controlling pests and diseases by using a variety of sprays when required.
• Operate a chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder, brush-cutter, and other machinery.
• Perform a reduction prunes for the safety of public and property.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and conscientious manner.

Our ideal candidate would have:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture, similar, or a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum of two years' climbing experience
• Excellent industry knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• First Aid and Traffic Control tickets desirable
• MC-HR licence desirable

MVS works locally in Adelaide and across the Hills districts, however living away for short term work may be required as MVS are well recognised across the state and interstate being awarded projects.

With a proven record in training arborists and a high level of commitment to the industry MVS will work with experienced arborists to formalise their qualifications. As an industry leader MVS, has ISO accreditation and prides itself on a safe work environment.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
