Full job description

JB Hi-Fi Commercial is the business-to-business (B2B) division of JB Hi-Fi, designed to supply technology products and solutions to organisations such as schools, government departments, corporate businesses, and institutions. relationships to offer competitive pricing and streamlined purchasing solutions for large-scale and ongoing commercial needs across Australia and New Zealand.

An ICT / Tech Support role at JB Hi-Fi Commercial (often called “ICT Support Technician” or “Technical Support Specialist”) usually involves supporting schools, businesses, and managed IT environments rather than working on the retail floor.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and maintaining networks
  • Troubleshooting PCs, laptops, printers, and servers
  • Managing Microsoft 365 / Active Directory
  • Supporting Wi-Fi, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Configuring switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
  • Handling helpdesk tickets and onsite support
  • Escalating technical issues and documenting fixes
  • Supporting virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V

Skills commonly requested:

  • Windows server/admin experience
  • Networking knowledge
