About the Role
As the Store Manager at Platypus Shoes Malvern, you'll lead a team of passionate casual team members alongside your Assistant Store Manager. Your primary mission is to drive sales and KPIs, coach and inspire your team, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You'll work closely with your Area Manager to identify and act on opportunities for growth, all while operating in a high-profile retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the overall performance of your store by achieving sales targets, KPIs, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Lead and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results in sales and customer service.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales, celebrating wins and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Manage rosters and wage costs in line with company targets and operational needs.
  • Coach and develop team members, ensuring ongoing training, high morale, and strong succession planning.
  • Oversee stock levels, store presentation, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to OH&S standards and legislation.
Skills and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in a high-volume retail environment
  • Strong leadership qualities with a results-focused and proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and team development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage store performance
  • Experience with stock management, operations, and visual merchandising
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
