Remote Male Voice Actor – YouTube Videos

About the Role

We are looking for a male voice actor to provide voiceovers for an independent YouTube video project.

This is a remote, project-based opportunity, ideal for someone who enjoys character-driven storytelling and can deliver natural, engaging and emotionally expressive voice performances.

You will be provided with scripts and direction for each video and will be responsible for recording the assigned voiceover.

Responsibilities

  • Record voiceovers for YouTube videos using provided scripts
  • Deliver clear, natural and engaging performances
  • Follow direction regarding tone, pacing, emotion and delivery
  • Provide retakes when reasonably required
  • Maintain a consistent voice and performance style across videos
  • Submit high-quality audio recordings within agreed deadlines
  • Participate in occasional online meetings when discussing upcoming videos, scripts or creative direction

Requirements

  • Male voice actor with clear pronunciation and strong vocal delivery
  • Ability to convey emotion naturally through voice
  • Comfortable taking direction and making adjustments
  • Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed deadlines
  • Access to a reasonably quiet recording environment
  • A good-quality microphone and recording setup
  • Previous voice acting, acting, narration or content-creation experience is preferred but not essential

Work Arrangement

  • Remote
  • Flexible recording schedule
  • Meetings are only required when discussing videos, scripts or creative direction
  • No regular office attendance required
  • Work is assigned on a per-video basis

Compensation

AUD $50 per completed video

Payment is made per video rather than hourly.

The exact recording requirements and expected length of each video will be discussed before work begins.
