Full job description

  • Bring your coffee expertise to Arte, our neighbourhood café in the heart of tropical Cairns
  • Part-time role offering 24-38 hours per week
  • Enjoy generous dining and accommodation benefits, with opportunities to grow across Crystalbrook Collection

Crystalbrook Bailey
is modern, creative and quietly confident - a hotel with a deep appreciation for art, design and individuality.

Choosing the path less travelled, Crystalbrook Bailey celebrates originality, thoughtful detail and a genuine connection to local culture. This is the kind of place that feels just as at home exploring a gallery, wandering through a local farmers market or discovering something beautifully unexpected.

With a personality shaped by creativity and curiosity, Crystalbrook Bailey offers a distinctive guest experience where contemporary style, considered hospitality and artistic spirit come together.

The Opportunity:

At Arte, thoughtfully made coffee and a warm welcome go hand in hand. Located on the ground floor of Crystalbrook Bailey, we are seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant with strong barista experience to help bring this experience to life. From preparing a regular’s morning coffee to helping a visiting guest choose their breakfast, you will deliver attentive, personable service with care for the details.

Alongside preparing excellent coffee, you will support all aspects of café service, including taking orders, serving food, processing payments and keeping the space welcoming and beautifully presented. Working closely with your colleagues, you will help service flow smoothly and make every guest feel looked after.

This is a part-time position offering 24–28 hours per week.

The Talent:

You take pride in your coffee craft and find just as much enjoyment in the people you serve. Confident behind the machine and welcoming on the café floor, you bring a thoughtful approach, clear communication and a willingness to support your colleagues.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated barista skills and a passion for consistently great coffee.
  • A warm, engaging manner and an eye for the details that make guests feel welcome.
  • Confidence across café service, from taking orders to serving food and processing payments.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to keep service flowing during busy mornings.
  • Pride in maintaining a clean, well-presented café and caring for your equipment.
  • A current Queensland RSA certificate and valid working rights in Australia.
  • Availability for early starts, weekends and public holidays.

Why Us:

At Crystalbrook Collection, you will work alongside exceptional people in a supportive, passionate and diverse environment. We are proud to offer a range of industry-leading benefits that support your lifestyle, career and wellbeing, including:

  • 50% F&B discount across all Crystalbrook restaurants and bars
  • $99 room rates and a generous friends and family discount
  • Enhanced parental leave and lifestyle benefits
  • A commitment to a green future through sustainable luxury practices
  • Access to our internal mobility program and team reward schemes
  • Online learning and training platforms and tailored career development pathways
  • A culture of collaboration, diversity and elevated experiences
  • Limitless career opportunities in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
  • Regular service recognition and team engagement events
