Female Disability Support Worker – Annandale NSW | Monday–Friday | Immediate Start

Yahweh Care is urgently seeking an experienced, compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in Annandale, NSW.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting participants with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), psychosocial disability, mental health support needs and/or trauma-related conditions.

About the Role

  • Location: Annandale, NSW
  • Shifts available: Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start available
  • Provide one-on-one support in a safe, respectful and person-centred manner
  • Support the participant with daily routines, community access and personal goals
  • Provide emotional reassurance and consistent support
  • Follow the participant's support plan, care requirements and established routines
  • Maintain professional boundaries and accurate progress notes
  • Work collaboratively with the participant, family and Yahweh Care team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in supporting people with PTSD and psychosocial disabilities
  • Knowledgeable about trauma-informed care
  • Calm, patient and emotionally mature
  • Compassionate and respectful
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Able to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Confident supporting participants experiencing anxiety, emotional distress or other psychosocial challenges
  • Able to work consistently Monday to Friday

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Relevant disability/community services experience
  • Australian working rights
  • Current driver's licence preferred
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, Mental Health or similar qualification is highly regarded
