Position Summary

The Web Content Developer will be responsible for creating, publishing, updating, and optimizing web content across our digital platforms. The successful candidate will collaborate with editorial, marketing, and technical teams to ensure content is engaging, accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, publish, and maintain website content, articles, blogs, and digital resources.
  • Develop engaging web pages using content management systems (CMS).
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and website performance.
  • Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with editors, designers, and developers to enhance user experience.
  • Monitor website content and update information as needed.
  • Implement multimedia content including images, videos, and interactive elements.
  • Conduct content audits and recommend improvements.
  • Track content performance using analytics tools and prepare reports.
  • Ensure all published content meets accessibility and usability standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in web content development, digital publishing, or content management.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
