About the Position
Breakfast on the Terrace is the breakfast dining experience at Wests New Lambton, welcoming hotel guests and visitors with great food, quality coffee and genuine service. We are looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Breakfast Attendant to help create a positive start to our guests' day.
This is a front-of-house role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and thrives in a busy team environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing warm and professional service to hotel guests and visitors
- Taking orders and assisting guests with menu enquiries
- Preparing coffees and other hot beverages
- Delivering food and beverages efficiently and accurately
- Operating tills and handling payments
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Following food safety, hygiene and RSA requirements
Clearing and resetting tables to ensure a welcoming dining environment
About You
You'll bring a positive attitude, strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant, café or table service experience will be highly regarded.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Experience in a food and beverage, café or restaurant environment
- Barista skills or experience preparing coffee and hot beverages
- A friendly and approachable personality
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- A strong focus on teamwork and guest experience
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Current RSA qualification
Availability
This is a casual position requiring flexibility across a 7-day roster including:
- Early morning breakfast shifts
- Weekends
- Public holidays
- Peak trading periods, including school holidays and summer
