Restaurant Waitress / Wait Staff

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waitress / Wait Staff Member to join our restaurant team and deliver excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat customers in a friendly manner
• Present menus and take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and drinks efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
• Handle customer requests and resolve concerns professionally
• Process payments and operate POS systems
• Set up and clear tables promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Assist with opening and closing duties

Requirements:

• Previous hospitality experience preferred but not essential
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with good organisational skills
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• RSA Certificate preferred (if serving alcohol)
