These roles are ideal for:

  • anyone seeking well-paid seasonal work in a supportive team environment.

Our sites are based in regional locations across South Australia and western Victoria, giving you the opportunity to explore beautiful coastal towns, experience regional communities and make the most of your time outside of work.

Most roles run from October to January, with opportunities for some to stay on longer. Earn great money and enjoy your free time travelling, meeting new people and experiencing some of Australia's most unique regions.

Why work a harvest with Bunge?

  • a supportive, safe and supervised team environment

  • pay in line with the applicable Enterprise Agreement/award rates.

Depending on your role and location, you may also have the opportunity to:

  • travel with the harvest and work across different sites in southern Australia and western Victoria
  • be considered for ongoing or return employment after the harvest season
  • access limited accommodation at selected locations
  • work towards eligibility for a second-year Working Holiday visa (subclass 417)

  • Machinery operations – operating equipment such as Front End Loaders (FEL) and forklifts
  • Grid operations – managing vehicle movements and directing trucks safely on site
  • Grain classification – testing and assessing grain quality (training provided)

Watch our roles explained in more detail.

Our harvest sites are located across South Australia and western Victoria, including:

  • Eastern SA and western Vic region, including Dooen (Murray Mallee and south east area)

About us

Bunge connects farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.

Through our dynamic supply chain, we can move commodities efficiently from where there is surplus to where they are needed. In Australia, we operate around 60 storage and handling sites and seven port terminals across southern Western Australia, South Australia and western Victoria, two import sites in Victoria and New South Wales, and are one of the largest buyers and exporters of agricultural commodities including cereals, oilseeds, pulses and cotton.

By joining Bunge, you will enjoy a varied and interesting career and make a difference to local farmers and the communities we operate in.

In mid-2025, Bunge and Viterra combined, creating the premier agribusiness solutions company.
