Farm Hand / Poultry Farm Worker – Baiada Poultry

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable Farm Hand / Poultry Farm Worker to support daily operations on broiler chicken farms, focusing on animal care, farm hygiene, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Feed and water poultry according to farm schedules
  • Monitor bird health, behaviour, and growth performance
  • Report illness, injury, or mortality concerns
  • Assist with vaccinations and basic animal health tasks
  • Clean and maintain poultry sheds and equipment
  • Manage bedding, ventilation, and temperature systems
  • Follow strict biosecurity, hygiene, and safety protocols
  • Assist with bird placement, catching, and loading
  • Support farm inspections, pest control, and general duties
  • Work closely with Farm Managers and senior staff

  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding, hands-on environment
  • Interest in animal care and farm operations
