Your key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across a range of clients and industries, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local and international regulations.
- Analyse complex tax issues and provide practical solutions that align with client objectives and EY’s quality standards.
- Support tax planning and structuring projects, including cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and indirect tax strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions, including liaising with audit, legal, and advisory professionals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding promptly to queries and providing clear, actionable advice.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team to enhance efficiency and client service.
- Ensure compliance with EY’s risk management policies and maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
Eligibility, skills and attributes for success
- Hold a valid working holiday visa for Australia.
- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and compliance frameworks in jurisdictions similar to Australia (such as UK, Ireland, Canada or Singapore).
- Minimum 3 years experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Compliance, International Tax, Transfer Pricing or Indirect Tax, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business consulting environment.
- Available for a maximum six-month contract early 2026.
