What your day will look like:

As a Guest Services Agent, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional moments and ensuring our guests' satisfaction throughout their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing an exceptional level of customer service from arrival to departure.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth transitions for guests.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing knowledgeable and personalised recommendations regarding local attractions, dining options, and entertainment.
  • Coordinate and prioritise guest requests, ensuring timely resolution and exceeding expectations whenever possible.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel facilities, services, and promotions to effectively communicate and upsell to guests.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to address guest needs promptly and maintain a seamless guest experience.
  • Manage reservations and room allocations effectively, ensuring accuracy and maximisng room revenue.
  • Process financial transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and empathetically, striving to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on local events, attractions, and developments to provide relevant and timely information to guests.

What we'd like to see:

  • Previous experience in a Guest Services role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management systems and software applications.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the 24/7 nature of the hospitality industry.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
