About the role
Novelly is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Creative Writing Coach to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Viewbank, VIC, and we are specifically looking for a face-to-face tutor who can deliver high-quality sessions in the local area. As a Creative Writing Coach, you will be responsible for providing engaging and effective tutoring to students looking to improve their creative writing abilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on the development of young minds in the Viewbank community.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering face-to-face one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in creative writing
• Assisting students in developing strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Providing feedback and guidance to help students build confidence and competence in public speaking
• Designing and implementing engaging, personalised lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance

What we're looking for

• Demonstrated experience in tutoring English, Creative Writing, or Public Speaking (educational or training environments preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of various ages and backgrounds
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their potential
• Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in a face-to-face tutoring environment
• Relevant qualifications in education, English, or a related field are highly regarded
