XS Espresso is a fast-growing, iconic cafe brand known for its creative menu, great coffee, and vibrant energy. We’re currently seeking a motivated and experienced Cafe Supervisor to lead our Kotara location.

We’re on the lookout for a passionate, experienced, and motivated Cafe Supervisor to take charge of the day-to-day operations of our Glendale branch. This is a leadership role for someone ready to step up and take full responsibility for a high-performing team and a dynamic café environment.

About the Role:

As the Supervisor in charge of the Kotara location, you’ll oversee the operation of the café, ensuring smooth service, high staff performance, and an exceptional customer experience. You’ll be the go-to person for the team, working closely with senior management to lead the store to success.

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the Jesmond café
• Lead, coach, and support the front-of-house team
• Maintain the XS Espresso standard of service, food quality, and presentation
• Oversee staff training, development, and shift coordination
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier coordination
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Work with management to meet KPIs and drive profitability

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1–2 years in a supervisory or management role within a café or hospitality setting
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to run a fast-paced venue independently
• Excellent communication and customer service focus
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and public holidays as needed
