Your opportunity:

Provide behaviour support and promote student well-being using the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework and Trauma-Informed Practices (TIPs).

Desirable Experience:

Collaborating with students, staff and families in the development and implementation of behaviour support plans.
Applying PBL and TIPs to support student engagement, wellbeing and positive behaviour across the school.
Provide emotional regulation and de-escalation strategies.
Collaborating with staff, families, and external agencies.
Supporting academic engagement and focus.

Help students thrive by fostering positive behaviours, emotional regulation and academic success in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

Identify barriers to student engagement and connect students with support services.
Support students to achieve positive learning outcomes and remain engaged in education.
Build relationships with students, families, school staff and community services.
Monitor attendance and implement early intervention strategies.
Conduct home visits and provide practical support where required.
Maintain accurate records of student contact and support.
Develop programs supporting social and emotional wellbeing.
Assist students experiencing difficulties at school or home.
