Are you an experienced Youth Worker looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference?

MANAWISE Care is growing, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a casual basis, with strong opportunities to transition into permanent part-time roles as we continue expanding across Brisbane’s Northside.

About the Role

You will be working across our Brisbane Northside residential homes, currently located in Morayfield, Narangba, and Albany Creek, with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.

As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
  • Build strong, positive relationships with young people
  • Support emotional, social, and life skill development
  • Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans
  • Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
  • Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Availability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends)
  • Current Paid Blue Card
  • National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Ability to obtain LCS check
  • Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
