Are you an experienced Youth Worker looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference?

MANAWISE Care is growing, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a casual basis, with strong opportunities to transition into permanent part-time roles as we continue expanding across the Gold Coast.

About the Role

You will be working across our Gold Coast residential homes, currently located in Pimpama and Oxenford, with a new home opening soon in Coomera. There are also exciting opportunities to support additional homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.

As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
  • Build strong, positive relationships with young people
  • Support emotional, social, and life skill development
  • Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing
  • Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans
  • Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
  • Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Availability for shift work (including sleepovers & weekends)
  • Current Paid Blue Card
  • National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Ability to obtain LCS check
  • Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
