We’re looking for entertaining vibrant, talented painting instructors/hosts to join our Champainting® team.

Our artists are the stars of the show since 2012, guiding our guests through unforgettable paint and sip sessions. Whether you're an artist with hosting experience or a performer with painting skills, this role is all about creating fun, feel-good vibes in a studio where wine flows and creativity glows.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong painting background, ideally 4+ years with acrylics.
• Confidence in speaking and entertaining in front of large groups.
• Ability to manage time, multitask, and keep sessions on track.
• Maturity and professionalism capable of running sessions independently.
• A people-person who can read the room and keep the energy flowing.
• Weekend and evening availability, plus flexibility around peak periods (June/July, November/December, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day).
• Lead groups of up to 25+ guests through a painting step-by-step.
• Create a fun, inclusive, and entertaining studio atmosphere.
• Engage with guests 18+ for their special occasions.
• Support guests with painting tips and encouragement throughout the session.
• Manage set-up, pack-down, and cleaning duties (brushes, tables, studio reset, bathrooms).
• Take photos and videos for guests and social media.
• Occasionally run VIP or off-site events across Sydney.
• Open and secure the studio before and after shifts.
• Follow company policies and communicate clearly with the team.

This role is ideal for an extroverted individual who loves to entertain, socialise, and create a positive atmosphere, and wants to earn extra income doing something fun and meaningful on nights and weekends.

When You’ll Be Needed

• Available Thursday- Sunday
• Comfortable working key peak periods (especially June/July, November/December, Valentine’s Day, and Mother’s Day).
• Flexible to take on last-minute bookings or rotating schedules.

The key ingredients

• You will be an independent contractor who needs an ABN. If you don't have one we can give you instructions on how to apply for one.
• Flexible with hours, so perfect for someone wanting to earn extra cash on top of other jobs or projects they are currently working on.
• Paid a per session rate, with payroll done every other Monday.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Application Question(s):

• How many hours a week are you looking for? Please be aware we are only looking for someone to work 4-12 hours a week max at this time, so if you need 25-40 hours, this is not the position for you.
• Are you available to work primarily on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6-10 pm and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30-6 pm? If you are not available on weekends ,there is no need to apply.
