Job Description
Join AECOM's Urbanism and Planning team, a dynamic group of architects, landscape architects, urban designers, and planners dedicated to creating socially rich and environmentally sustainable spaces. As an Architecture Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that enhance public spaces, improve community engagement, and promote sustainability in urban environments.
How you’ll make a difference
- Assist in developing architectural designs and concepts for buildings.
- Support analysis and assessments to understand the environment, regulations, and site-specific challenges.
- Help prepare proposals, progress reports, and technical findings for clients and stakeholders.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to help achieve project objectives.

Qualifications
- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Architecture.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027.
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
