Full job description

  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with Jamaica Blue standards.
  • Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Assist with menu planning and the development of new menu items.
  • Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering and storage of food supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations and assist with staff training as required.
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Minimum Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 12 months full-time experience working as a Chef.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of AUD $76,515 – $79,499 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

Pay: $76,515.00 – $79,499.00 per year
