About the Role

Are you seeking to step confidently into a leadership role where your creativity and expertise can shape the dining experience for every patron who walks through the door? Do you long for an environment that places an undeniable emphasis on work-life balance? No split shifts here!

As Head Chef, you will be entrusted with overseeing all venue operations, from the kitchen to the front-of-house. You will lead a dedicated team that shares your passion for delivering an exceptional experience to every guest.

This is a full time role, based in Mildura.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years as Head Chef or similar senior role

  • Expertise in Asian cuisines and techniques

  • Culinary creativity: Proven ability to conceive and execute inventive dishes that delight and surprise guests.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading teams, nurturing talent, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.

  • Menu development: Experience designing and implementing menus that showcase seasonal produce and reflect diverse culinary influences.

  • Operational expertise: Strong understanding of kitchen management, food safety, and cost controls.

  • Passion for hospitality: Genuine enthusiasm for connecting with patrons and creating memorable experiences.

  • Excellent communication: Ability to work seamlessly with all venue staff, management, and suppliers.

  • Problem solving: Adaptability and creativity in overcoming challenges and seizing new opportunities.

  • Commitment to quality: Unwavering standards for food preparation, hygiene, and presentation.

  • Formal culinary training or qualifications

Salary:

  • A full time, attractive salary of between $80,000 - $90,000 per year, is on offer for the right candidate.
