Role Overview:
As the enterprise continues to flourish, particularly within the APAC region, notably Australia, they seek a dynamic CTO to join the ranks. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead initiatives related to user experience enhancement, product refinement, fortification of trading infrastructure, and cultivation of a robust engineering ethos within the Australian hub. Central to your mandate will be the ownership of the product strategy, wherein you will align technological endeavours with overarching business objectives, collaborating closely with the executive team to enact the technology road map. Furthermore, an exhilarating aspect of this position entails the establishment, leadership, and nurturing of the Australian engineering function, championing the adoption of best practices across diverse technological domains, including microservices, event-driven architecture, front-end paradigms, and back-end intricacies pertinent to trading systems.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record within the financial markets domain, underpinning a nuanced comprehension of trading infrastructure, market dynamics, liquidity mechanisms, and connectivity protocols.
• Ideally, exposure to the cryptocurrency landscape, either through professional engagements or personal endeavours.
• Proficiency in event-driven architecture, microservices orchestration, and seamless integration with WS/Rest APIs.
• A focus on product-centric ideation, coupled with demonstrable experience in shepherding the road map for multiple products.
• Prior engagement with consumer-facing products, underscored by a relentless pursuit of superior user experiences.
• Exemplary communication prowess, coupled with the ability to inspire and galvanise high-performing engineering cohorts.
