• Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, interventions and recovery-focused care to consumers in the community.
• Coordinate the delivery of safe, evidence-based and person-centred care within a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate daily clinical activities, prioritise workload and respond effectively to changing consumer needs.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical officers, allied health professionals and community partners to develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Support consumers and their families through education, advocacy and coordinated care.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service development and evidence-based practice.
• Mentor and support the professional development of nursing staff while promoting a positive team culture.

• Be eligible for, or currently appointed as, a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Work confidently in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing clinical demands.
• Be approachable, decisive and supportive, fostering positive relationships with consumers, families and colleagues.
• Communicate effectively and build strong therapeutic relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Be committed to continuous improvement, evidence-based practice and delivering person-centred mental health care.

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
