AAA Air Conditioning Careers and Employment
fun but busy work life
lots of weekend work
summer was hard work been stuffed in a roof all day.
other workers were good to work with and where good at training
I would be with the team working in the fabrication shop overseeing work and as well doing some sheetmetal works.
The boss would hand me a new blueprint and I would start taking off work from it identifying fittings and straights of ductwork. Marking the blueprint copy of actual measures from scales. Make an actual measures of the site and make corrections of measurements made on blueprint take offs. make calculations and sketches with corresponding measurements then distribute work to other workers for fabrication.
I learned as well to adapt to different situations like the same people are to install them on site while I will be left to do some of the unfinished work and incidental additions or prepare the next job with the new blueprint.
The hardest part of my job is when additional worker comes without any prior knowledge of the trade and I have to train him from scratch communicating with sign language as they just arrive in Australia speaking only a few English. I managed though and it was fun.
Rewards is what I expected the least but in my first year of work in this company, I was given four raises in my wage.
What would you say about your employer?
