When I was there Management was very poor
Production Supervisor (Former Employee) - Clearwater, FL - 8 July 2018
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedI was only there 6 months as a Production Supervisor directly in charge of 56 employees. The Site took on a large job from a new Customer they weren't prepared for, which immediately threw us into a 7 day a week schedule with inadequate resources. In turn, Management went into a "finger pointing" mode to deflect blame. Two mid-level managers were let go. I subsequently resigned before they could fire me, as well. After I left, my boss, his boss, and hiss boss' boss were all terminated. For all I know at the moment, it might be a nice place to work, if they have gotten their act together. It just wasn't that way when I left.
By contrast, the support of Production workers where I work now involves a Manufacturing Manager, several Supervisors, Work Flow Specialists (Cell Leaders), and Planners for about half the actual staff.
Pros
Composite Aircraft Interiors and Other Aircraft Subassemblies
Cons
Management and Supervisory Organization

Great Place
CNC Machinist (Current Employee) - Huntsville, AL - 15 June 2012
In depth knowledge of CNC machining aerospace parts. Stable job with great co-workers. A changing management makes the company seem unstable but always have plenty of work.

Unprofesional, Unprepared, & Reactionary
Level II Ultrasonic Inspector (Former Employee) - Sacramento CA - 14 June 2012
After 15 years in the NDT Industry - I was shocked to witness such a wreckless and cavalier posture of AAR Managment in Sacramento. After being hired to be a level II UT inspector, I was astonished to find that the Company had not aquired any work that required NDT inspection. I was dispatched to another facility to "train" on equipment that was not even availiable at the facility I hired to work. That should have been my first clue. The Level III engineer was from a Foreign country and thoughrouly unfamiliar with the level of quality requirments (NADCAP) needed to comply with the customers AAR was propositioning at the time. AAR Sacramento purchased a Multi Million Dollar ($1.5 Million) Automated UT Machine from a world renowned contractor - Yet - the machine was incapable of inspecting the parts AAR was intending to produce. This was even a shock to the Contractor who built the custom unit. Finally, in trying to assist the process of manufacturing a non-existant NDT Program, I created a Process Matrix for the creation of Ultrasonic Standards on my home computer to aid the company, only to be accused of "stealing" information that I created for process improvements. SMH. If you are an expierenced NDT Professional, don't waste your time.
Cons
irrational, unprepared, and wreckless.

Very unstable company.
General worker (Former Employee) - huntsville,AL - 13 July 2011
Not a good career choice. In five years the Huntsville ,AL location had over 6 massive layoffs. People are constantly being walked out the door even though there is not a problem with their job performance. Also, there is no room for growth unless you are in a certain group. Stay away from this one!!!!
Cons
unstable
