Great friendship amongst staff
Driver Guide, Business Development (Current Employee) - Alexandria NSW - 29 May 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGreat place to work for. Even though its a large company, it feels like a family business. Get to see the country whilst touring and getting paid for it. Vehicles are upgraded on a regular basis.
Pros
good working culture
Cons
Long hours

Long hours but rewarding job If you love nature and teaching people about flora / fauna, culture, geology and history. A chance to relocate throughout Aus and Nz

The experience was great
Bus Diver/ Guide (Former Employee) - Darwin NT - 3 April 2020
I totally enjoyed the job but the days/tours were
long with no family work life balance it was all work work. Somtimes we would get called in off
RDO.

Remote yet good environment
Tour Guide (Former Employee) - Yulara NT - 4 December 2019
People are nice though you need to be prepared to work flexibly - plan does change due to the operational demands, such as unexpected issue during other tours, flight delays and so on, sometimes in the last minutes. Long hours might be a struggle but overall a good environment.

Very disorganised
Tour Bus Operator/ Guide (Former Employee) - Winnelli - 19 August 2015
This company has barely any local people working for it, as the staff are treated as numbers not individuals.
There is barely any in house training, and you are sent on tours to learn off people who have been barely trained themselves. This ads to the peoples who are training you stress levels.
You hardly ever know what you are doing the next day and the days themselves are usually about 12 hours long with hardly a break and no overtime or penalty rates.
Your mistakes are punished and I must say that its very easy to make them as you are not totally confident when you start as you are barely trained.
You are punished by the severe reduction in your hours and usually made to wash buses in the yard, this to me is a form of bullying.
Working for this company was a horrible learning experience, there is MUCH easier ways of making money out there with having a life at the same time.
Pros
Going home, getting paid weekly..
Cons
Extremely long hours, exhaustion, no relationships, management that only cares for the company and not the individual
