It is a staffing company but whenever you’re placed, work it as if you are a regular employee and you’ll have better chances of being offered a regular job or a regular May come available and you will be one of the firsts to be interviewed.

Direct Managers are OK but go higher in the company and it gets worse and worse.

The corporate level employees at Abacus unfortunately could use an overhaul. They are never held accountable even though the training and continued learning are non-existent. The turnover at all office locations is insane. During my tenure at Abacus it was rare for anyone to last more than 3-4 years with the company and it was a direct reflection on the upper management at the corporate office.

No appreciation for lower level management and staff. (District managers, onsite managers, office managers, recruiters, office admin) Pay is laughable.

Ottawa they give cheapest hotel stay they can find, they sabotage your work, It’s very personal for a low end job that forces you to work as fast as possible and it’s 110 mph or they tell you your gone, very poor management, not truthful at even the lowest realities

They will tell you all the wrong things about the job they send you to. Then not pay you because they didn’t set everything up right. You will literally have to go in yourself to get ANYTHING done. They won’t call you back either. One job they tell me it’s 5 days 8 hour shift then when I started they said it’s everyday and 10 hour shifts. Don’t. Do. It!
