My experience with Accor hotels was a great one. They are very supportive and have a great work culture. It provides a great work life balance. the company offers amazing opportunities to work at different locations and brands.

Very stressful

There was a lot of pressure put on staff. Management would get on chairs and start yelling at people to make sales. It wasn’t a healthy environment for staff.

Tough to work for but fair

Working for accor was fun but due to the nature of timeshare the product is a hardsell and there is a high turnover! Staff morale was low and many developed passive-aggressive traits.

Pros

Discounted holidays

Cons

Unreliable pay; unreliable hours

promise the world and once your in things change and pressure is placed on you to make sales without the right training or leads. old leads 4-6 years old all called at least 10 times before most numbers have blocked the centres number and hungs ups are very frequent. was promised no cold calling but it is...

Cons

pressure

Don't waste your time

Will pay a base salary for approximately 10 weeks then your on commission only. They state 3 clients a day but in reality your lucky if you get 1. Data base is totally unqualified, often clients come in on a heavily discounted hotel accommodation and are not interested in $30,000 club memberships that they must join on the day of their presentation. Don't give up a job to take this on, as it's a revolving door with staff.

Pros

None

Cons

Commission only & loads of "deals" cancel
