Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Production Operator in Alcoa
Great place to work
Production Operator (Former Employee) - Point Comfort, TX - 10 October 2020
I am laid off; but it was a great place to work. I loved my job. The facility is now closed. Alcoa was an exceptional place to work. I miss the people the most.
Pros
Great benefits and pay

You are a number.
Production Operator Alcoa Aluminum (Former Employee) - betterdorf, IA - 16 March 2020
Keep your head down. Hot working conditions. Good pay. Cliquey. Management seems to choose a few to make examples of ie, you do the same thing as other employees and receive discipline while others do not.
Pros
pay
Cons
management

Relaxed place to work but has its quirks like any other plant
Production Operator and Finishing Safety Chairman (Current Employee) - Newburgh, IN - 16 February 2019
Excellent pay and benefits, but management gets flustered easy and affects shift performance. Vacation time starting out is pretty good 5 days paid but don’t get anything more than that until 3 years of service. Long shifts and depends on where you work in the plant but might be the easiest money you’ve ever made. Seniority gets favored over new employees as far as leniency in discipline and shift pick.
Pros
Paid lunch, excellent compensation and benefits
Cons
Poor management, long shifts, political union
