Store Manager (Current Employee) – Western Australia – 11 June 2019
Great place to work if you are in a good store, and with a good manager, fast pace environment, good company culture, long hours for full timers not enough breaks, good to place to progress but not after if you are a Store Manager, from there you need to have a degree, no opportunity of you don't have one even if you are a super star.
Area managers in general are OK but lack of help many times and they all have different ways of doing things and that can be frustrating. No much experience in some of them and same with some long suit bosses, too young to be where they are without knowing how to manage their position.
Because of this issues, really high turnover and no managers or people with experience in the company.
Making it harder to the ones that are still there.
Good people and pay but long hours
You are just a sheep for Aldi, no matter how good you are, they don't care
Assistant Manager (Former Employee) – Perth – 25 June 2019
Senior management is a joke in WA. No training, store managers who don't care and are manipulative. Pay was OK but not worth the workload you take on. Team constantly complaining about coming to work and wish they could leave. Need I say more. Glad I left when I did.
No leadership or development opportunities, manipulative toxic workplace.
