coworkers treat me horribly. poor management. the RM and VM are rude and cold. i’m a casual and am expected to do everything and get paid as little as possible. horrible company. DO NOT work for them.

Can be a very horrible place to work for. They prove to care more about their sales than their actual workers. Was there for about 3 years as a casual got promised to go to part time, but then would hire more casuals and keep them on but apparently didn’t have enough hours to spread around as it was. I never got taught how to open and close the store after being there for 3 years yet some of the new casuals got taught, very downgrading. Wasn’t treated well.

No shifts allocated and poor higher ups management communication

Shift hours were extremely inconsistent each week - having to be announced last minute and also having no break hours even with five hours shifts. Lots of demands from higher ups managers even though the pay was little. However, extremely welcoming environment

Horrible working environment

The company skimmed our hours so we weren't paid for time we worked. Exceeding amount of stress for a retail job where HR provided very little assistance and only cared about making sure their jobs were done. A lack of respect and empathy for their staff. For some employees, they went a few months without receiving a pay check, others weren't paid for all the hours they worked. Management from other stores threatened to beat other employees up, which was brought under the attention of HR, however they ended up not investigating further and these people kept their jobs. Conducted interviews for positions which had already been filled for months, ultimately pushing some people out of their jobs. Overall, a horrible experience due to a lack of anything from HR, and feeling more like a disposable object than an employee
