Reviews for Traffic Controller in Altus Traffic
Well paid if you can get shifts
Traffic Controller (Former Employee) - Sydney NSW - 3 March 2023
It's an easy albeit a tad boring job. It pays exceptionally well. Unfortunately they give the best shifts to their favorites. Others ring up, visit and even give presents to the allocators. I didn't and got sent 2 hours from my area to do a 4 hour shift sometimes that was my only shift of the week. They would send me to do induction training and I would not get a single shift there. Ridiculous.
Pros
Easy well paid job
Cons
Boring, not enough shifts if you aren't a favorite

Money is good while but becomes cut throat once the work dies down.
Traffic Controller (Current Employee) - Sunshine VIC - 26 July 2020
The CEO will do anything to undercut the employees and the Victorian/Tasmanian manager has no idea how to back or support staff members, basically both are total fools as managers and are obviously well over paid for the management rolls they hold for the job that they do.

can be rewarding, if you are a safety aware type person, calm headed
Traffic Controller (Former Employee) - Sunshine VIC - 2 July 2019
Some days are busy, others not. Always on your toes and constantly looking for traffic. Can get quite dangerous at times. Always looking over your shoulder for dangers/hazards. Can get quite stressful if your team partner is not on the ball or is a bit slack.
Pros
outside work
Cons
Long Days
